Modern love.

I have been observing people in silence and asked multiple to define what love is to them, A lot of individuals have their own opinion regarding love but this is my take on love.

Many are yet to experience love but I have experienced love in different stages of my life. Love can be defined in numerous ways, as I grew older I started to understand what love is truly meant to feel like.

There is this strange misconception between the feeling of lust and love, most people are often confused between the two.

It could take years to know what love is because every time we are in a relationship, we come to the conclusion that we have met the one but really we are often clouded by lust, it will probably take a couple of mistakes and heartbreaks to finally meet the right one.

Now as I have reached the peak of 23, I find myself understanding the true meaning of love. when I was a teenager love was just an escape from being alone and I felt that I had to be with someone to fill the emptiness inside me but then I realized that it was not love that I was feeling, it was simply infatuation.

Love, love is beyond just words, love is action, love is the bond between you and your family or your best friend, love is being there for the person that really matters to you and love is, When you look into your mother’s eyes.

love is the purest emotion of all.
